![]() ![]() It's amazing though that the new Pharaoh game includes roadblocks in its design to restrict walkers from wandering. Some of the people who scream the most about gatehouses being cheats are the very same people who will tell you to isolate certain city blocks from each other, which in my opinion looks less like a city than using gatehouses. Almost all he cities I build are entirely connected by roads and require gatehouses to seperate the plebians from the patricians. I constantly use them and disagree with those who call them "cheats". I have seen these walkers go half way across the map to get to their destinations. For example: entertainers going from an entertainer school to their entertainment building, or warehouse cartpushers on a GET command, market buyers going to get goods, or farmers delivering food to a grainery. This does not apply to walkers who have a set destination. ![]() This is for walkers like priests, tax collectors, bath house workers, doctors, prefects, engineers, etc. Yes there is a limit on how far certain walkers will travel before turning around. I'll respond to your second question first.
